If you like play dough, you will like metal clay! In this workshop, you will work with fine silver metal clay, a unique clay made up of tiny particles of recycled pure silver with a non-toxic organic binder. Fine silver metal clay can be formed, dried, finished and fired. Firing the clay will burn away the binder, resulting in a beautiful piece of pure 99.9% fine silver you will treasure for years to come. You will be “charmed” by metal clay after trying it!

Each participant will make one small charm using molds and texture plates. After the workshop, the charms will be fired in a kiln and tumbled to a shine, to be picked up at a later date. The cost of the workshop includes a small package of Art Clay Silver metal clay, use of tools for the day and a sterling silver jump ring for the charm. Necklace and bracelet chains are not included, but can be purchased separately the day of the workshop.
